Superior STL020 Sure~Cool thermal bypass / Flow~Control upgrade for Ford 4R70, 4R75, 6F35, 6R80, 6R90, 10R60 and 10R80 transmissions. It also works in the late 2021-UP GM 10L80 and 10L90. Made in the USA by Superior Transmission Parts.
Does not fit 6F50/6F55 or 8H57 reverse-flow metal blocks: use STP-STL032.
It is recommended during a rebuild, or at a routine transmission service as preventive maintenance. The STL020 supersedes the STL017, and its universal fit design takes most 2 line in, 2 line out cooler blocks, both in-line and offset.

What it does
The upgrade gives full-time cooler flow with a built-in safety bypass and immediate cooler fill. Fluid level can be checked accurately right away, without a warm-up cycle.
Compared with the factory thermostatic pellet-style system, it lowers average operating temperatures, increases ATF life, and reduces the risk of overheating and planetary damage.
