TransGo actuator feed limit valve repair kit with tools for GM vehicles with 4L80E and 4L85E transmissions. It includes the reaming tool, guide, oversized valves and springs needed to repair a worn AFL bore. If you already have the reamer and guide, the refill kit is TransGo part # 48-ACT-VL6.

Why it fails
By 100,000 miles the actuator bore is typically worn. Worn bores cause low pressure when hot, clutch, band and converter slippage, wrong gear starts, burn-up and codes 39, 85 and 68.
The boring guide and cutter make the repair about a 5 minute job. The oversized valves have 50% more linear support and oscillate less than half as much as the original design, which greatly reduces bore wear.
The kit addresses no or low line pressure boost, erratic line pressure, wrong gear starts, clutch plate burn-up, neutrals on the highway, and codes P0731, P0732, P0734, P0751 and P0756.
