TransGo internal vacuum modulator kit for 1991-2013 GM vehicles with 4L80E and 4L85E automatic transmissions and gas engines. It uses engine vacuum instead of the vehicle PCM controlling the PCS/EPC solenoid, for a more aggressive and tunable pressure boost curve. A good fit for transplants.

How it works
High-performance applications often need another source of line pressure regulation because the vehicle has a non-reprogrammable electronic control module. This kit adds an internal vacuum modulator that regulates line pressure in place of the EPC solenoid, for a more reliable and tunable pressure control system.
The internal modulator system installs with the oil pan off. Outside the transmission, the modulator connects to an intake manifold vacuum source. An oil-pan-mounted resistor stands in for the removed EPC solenoid so the control module stays satisfied in applications where the computer still manages gear changes.

Note: This kit does not eliminate the need for TCM shift controls.
