Repair kit for the typical 3-4 clutch burnout in GM 700R4, 4L60E and 4L65E automatic transmissions. It covers the minimum work to replace a burned 3-4 clutch pack, with an optional heavy-duty sun shell to upgrade the weak original sun shell in the 4L60E.
About this kit
The kit is aimed at units where the problem was caught in time and the goal is to get the vehicle back on the road at low cost.
The sun shell is optional. If the transmission did not lose reverse and no sun shell upgrade is wanted, leave the sun shell off and replace just the 3-4 clutches.

- Accumulator D-rings
- Torque converter shaft seal

- Set of replacement check balls
- New VB plate screens

- Oil filter seal
- Oil filter (deep or shallow style depending on year selected)
- Set of replacement 3-4 clutch frictions (OEM tans or upgraded high energy)
- Set of replacement forward clutch frictions
- Extension / tail housing seal kit (includes seals for both 2WD and 4WD 4L60E models)
- Optional heavy-duty upgraded style sun shell (works for bearing and washer style)
- Optional upgraded fiber/Farpak pan gasket

Doesn't have near the parts needed for a 3 and 4 burnout!
No steals! No 3 - 4 piston seals which are definitely parts needed for a burnt 3 and 4 gear repair! Do not recommend this kit unless u plan on buying other parts separate!
