Directional switch valve (servo capsule) for the 3rd accumulator apply/release circuit in all 700R4 and 4L60E/65E/70E automatic transmissions, made in the USA by Superior Transmission Parts. It replaces a worn, jammed or damaged servo check ball capsule.

How it works

The valve gives a clean, positive 3rd gear apply and a quick 3rd gear release, and it relieves tie-up, bind or drag on 3-4 downshifts. The K0136 comes complete and ready to go for stock, heavy duty or performance builds: remove the old servo capsule from the case and install the new valve in its place.
