    What it fixes

    It restores pressure rise and protects the transmission from extreme reverse pressure caused by worn out or cross-leaking boost bushings.

    Up to March 2005 the kit can be installed in the vehicle. In March 2005, General Motors gradually started adding an input speed sensor that blocks access to the boost valve assembly.
