TransGo 45RFE-HD2-A Reprogramming Kit for 1999 to 2018 Chrysler, Dodge, RAM and Jeep vehicles with the 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE or 68RFE transmission. It addresses rough lock-up apply, lock-up slide bump apply, TCC slip codes, excessive transmission cooler pressure, converter drain-back and soft shifts in performance applications.
The kit includes parts and technical information, and it also makes shifts quicker (the transition time from release of the present gear to apply of the next gear).

How it works
These units often come in with the TC limit valve bore in the pump completely wiped out, worn so far that the pump appears to need replacing. The kit's drop-in TC limit parts restore TC limit system function in both the early and the late design pumps regardless of the amount of bore wear, saving the cost of a new pump.
The kit also recalibrates the accumulator system and the TCC, and replaces the low/reverse switch valve and end plug with a self-cleaning design.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: rough lock-up, TCC slide bang, TCC slip codes, drain-back and limp-in mode.
High mileage vehicles sometimes come in with codes P0841, P0871, P0988, P1775 and P1776 due to wear at the solenoid switch valve bore in the valve body.
