Fits: 45RFE / 5-45RFE
Overdrive and underdrive clutch PowerPack for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep 45RFE and 5-45RFE transmissions, made in the USA by Alto Products Corp. It uses Red Eagle® friction plates on both the external and internal splines.

Installation
Underdrive: start with an externally splined friction plate, lining facing up, then an internally splined friction plate, lining facing up. Keep alternating and end with an internally splined plate; every friction plate faces lining up (5 internal and 5 external plates). Install the snap ring, the pressure plate with the large step facing down, and the .074” snap ring.
Overdrive: start with an internally splined friction plate, lining facing down, then an externally splined plate, lining facing down, and alternate the rest of the stack; every friction plate faces lining down (5 internal and 5 external plates). Install the wave snap ring, the reverse/overdrive pressure plate and the top tapered snap ring.
For both clutches, check clearance between the pressure plate and the top friction plate in 3 places. Use the .077” externally splined plates to adjust it. Pre-soak the friction plates for at least 30 minutes in the ATF the unit will run.
