Remanufacturing service for your own rebuildable 45|545|65|66|68RFE pump core. The pump is inspected and vacuum tested; if it passes, it is broken down, ultrasonically cleaned, reamed (if applicable), polished/honed, cleaned again, reassembled, tested and returned.
How the rebuild works
Upgrades are chosen at checkout, so there is no need to buy the reamers or specialty tools to oversize a valve line. A worn valve line shows up clearly in the initial test, and the only real fix for a scored or worn valve line is to oversize it. These pumps are known for valve line issues, and almost all need some reaming to bring them back into spec.
A pump cannot be rebuilt if the face where the gears ride is damaged or scored, and some pumps need new gears. Each pump gets a new filter seal and new stator sealing rings (5 metal rings), is tested twice, and has all bolts torqued to manufacturer specifications. Pumps go out double bagged, in a double wall box or double boxed with 2 polyurethane expanding foam insert packs.
2019 brought significant changes to the RFE family, changing the valve body and the pumps, so options that list year ranges are split at that change. Mopar-brand solenoid blocks are known for intermittent pressure issues that can cause EPC codes and shifting issues; Rostra brand solenoid blocks are the recommended choice for vehicles made in 2018 and older.

Warranty If you choose no upgrades and your pump is rebuildable as is, the pump has a 1 year (12,000 mile) warranty.
Fully upgraded pumps (All valve lines oversized and a Sonnax TCC Accumulator Kit) come with a 5 year (75,000 mile) warranty.
If you choose any other mix of oversized valves, each oversized valve adds 1 year (12,000 miles) to your warranty.
