TransGo Shift Kit valve body repair kit for all Ford 10R60, 10R80 and 10R100 and GM Gen 1 (GEN1) 10L80 and 10L90 transmissions. It solves built-in drivability problems that are often difficult to diagnose.
How it works
All valves drop in for quick installation. Redesigned latch valves with extended lands address common drivability issues and eliminate OEM valve stem wear. An improved pressure curve gives cleaner, consistent shifts, and a patent-pending re-engineered PR valve assembly addresses both inboard and outboard wear points.
A redesigned TCC lineup allows a 15% increase in apply pressure and more holding capacity, and the kit prevents the auxiliary pump from leaking during start/stop operation.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: unexplained shift complaints including binding, flaring or missing shifts with or without burnt frictions; erratic main line pressure; delayed engagements or broken parts; TCC shudder or slip, with or without codes, and insufficient clamping force under load; an overheated converter from loss of converter feed; and clutch pressure regulation instability.
