Stop and go driving also spends most time in 1st or 4th gear, and passes through 2nd and 3rd very quickly when accelerating from a stop. The most common failure with 4T40E and 4T45E transmissions is the 1-2 solenoid. It is ON typically 90-95% of the time, with no cooling provided, all it takes is one long hot trip to experience a meltdown. That defect is corrected in this STL006 kit.

Hope it works good, btw doesn't have a brill bit of any in the bag? Only tube and bracket. Oh well it could have been worse I got my solenoid kit in the same day or two before your box and the kit that I got had a completely smoked solenoid in it!! I mean It had gotten so hot that the plastic on the top of it and melted they had to have seen that. So you leaving out a little drill bit wasn't the worst thing that could have happened! Sorry had to vent thank you Dusty,
