How much ATF should you use with your BM 6L80/6L90 transmission?
USE ONLY DEXRON VI!!
Pan Removal - 6.5 Quarts
Overhaul (exclude Corvette) - 10 Quarts
Overhaul (Corvette) - 12.5 Quarts
NOTE: Since the Corvette is not equiped with a fill tube, a tube in the bottom of the pan is used to set the fluid level. Start the vehicle and place it in "Park." Remove the control plug in the bottom of the pan. Continue to add fluid until it drips out of the plug hole.
