The Superior "Super Tuff" valve body plate saves time and money by preventing costly No-Go's and comebacks in late 2000 and up Ford 4R70W/E and 4R75E/W automatic transmissions by helping to eliminate plate cracking which is very common in these units. Cross leaks are also common in this series Ford transmission and are caused by constant pounding form the 2-3 accumulator piston spring retainer on the stock separator plate.
Using Superior Transmission Parts upgraded valve body spacer plate is a no brainer when rebuilding a 4R70W/4R70E/4R75W/4R75E transmission.

Great product
Purchased the tough plate to repair my Lincoln due to the crack around the 2-3 accumulator! Also replaced some gaskets and the check balls. Fixed my shifting concern and the new plate is quite a bit thicker than original! Highly recommend this if doing any valve body repairs while you are in there!

This plate was at least twice the thickness as the original. My original was cracked. This one was as advertised for the 04 Expedition 5.4L with 4R75W.
