The B2 brake in Toyota/Lexus U151E, U151F and U250E transmissions is applied in Reverse and manual Low. During manual Low, the B2 apply control plunger valve helps to correctly position the apply control valve to route Low/1st oil pressure through the control valve to apply the brake. If there is excessive wear at the plunger valve sleeve, B2 brake oil is reduced. Sonnax B2 apply control plunger kit 27741-06K eliminates the loss of B2 pressure.
