The B1 brake in Toyota/Lexus U151E, U151F and U250E transmissions is applied in 2nd, 4th and 5th Gear. If there is excessive wear at the plunger valve sleeve, B1 brake oil is reduced. Sonnax B1 apply control plunger kit 27741-04K features annular grooves on hardcoat annodized aluminum valve to correctly position the apply control valve to allow apply oil through the control valve and to feed the B1 brake.
