What is your return policy?

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Are there any restocking fees for returns?

We do not charge a restocking fee on returns unelss the part was in opened/used condition or was a special order custom part.  Orders returned outside of our standard return period are refunded or store credit applied at our discretion.

How long does it take to process a return?

IT can take between 3-7 days from the time we receive your order back until the return is fully processed by our warehouse.  After we process the return order it can take anywhere from immediately to two weeks for your credit to appear back on the original payment method.  Typically, orders placed through PayPal see quicker payment refunds but it depends on the credit card company.

Can I return a product outside of your return window?

Yes.  If you still haven't used the parts and need to return the order and it is outside of our standard 180-day return window, please contact us to initiate the return.  For returns outside of our 180-day return window only store credit may be issued.

Do you offer refunds or store credit?

The choice is yours as to if you'd rather receive back store credit or a refund back to the original payment method used.  

What should I do if I need a different part then the one I ordered?

If you need to exchange a part for another part, please contact us so we can issue an RMA.  Usually, the quickest way to get you the part you need is for you to place an order for the correct part and get an RMA for the part you don't need.  That way we do not have to wait for the return to get back to us and then exchange the part.  Once, we receive the RMA we will process your refund according to our Return Policy.

How do I return a defective or damaged product?

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us for an RMA number to return the defective product and arrage for delivery of a replacement part.

What is your exchange policy?

If you need a part different from the part you ordered the easiest and quickest way to get the right part would be to contact us for an RMA number so you can return the part you do not need.  Then place an order for the part that you need, so we can get that part coming to you right away.  Then when the original part you do not need arrives back to us we will process the return and refund that order.

How can I check the status of my return?

Can I return an item without the original packaging?

If the part is not an electrical component (solenoid, switch, valve body, transducer, etc) then you can still return the part.  However, depending on the packaging a 20% restocking fee might apply.  We are unable to accept returns on open electrical components.

Do you cover return shipping costs?

We do not cover return shipping costs for issues relating to buyers remorse, incorrect part ordered or part no longer needed.  We are able to provide a return label if you need one.  Just let us know when creating the RMA.  The cost of the return shipping label will be withheld from the total amount refunded.  

Can I return an item I purchased that was on sale?

Yes.  You are able to return a transmission part you purchased while the price was discounted.  The refund would be for the original purchase price.

What happens if my return package is lost enroute back to your warehouse?

If your return package gets lost, please contact us and let us know.  There is a change we might be able to help with our local reps.  However, in most cases the hsipper of the package, in this case the returner, has to file and start the claim with the USPS or UPS.  

How do I cancel a return request?

If you no longer wish to return a part back to us just let us know and we will cancel the RMA.  RMAs are automatically cancelled after six months if no product is returned.  

How do I get a prepaid label?

Please contact us with your order number and reason for return.  Mention at the time getting the RMA number you would like us to provide a return label to you.  Return shipping costs will be deducted from the total return amount.

What is your return policy for international orders?

Our return policy for international orders is typically the same.  However, usually it is cost prohibited to send returns internationally.
