Wear in the main pressure regulator bore is common in Jatco/Nissan JF016E (RE0F10D) and JF017E (RE0F10E) units. This wear minimizes line pressure control resulting in delayed engagement and pulley damage.
Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized main pressure regulator valve kit 33510N-05K restores accurate pressure control.

CAUSE
