SOME BMXA UNITS HAVE BEEN FOUNDN WITH PLUGS WHICH HAVE SMALLER DIAMETER CLIP-GROOVES AND NARROWER RETAINERS. SONNAX END PLUGS WILL NOT WORK IN THESE APPLICATIONS.
DUE TO APPLICATION VARATIONS, ADDITONAL END PLUGS MAYBE BE REQUIRED. SINGLE END PLUGS IN ALL THREE SIZES (12mm, 14mm, 15mm) ARE AVAILABLE SEPARATELY.

Valve bore plugs on Honda/Acura 4-speed, 3-shaft and 5-speed valve bodies wear and allow critical CPC and solenoid feed oil to leak to exhaust, leading to low CPC pressures and soft or inconsistent shifts. Sonnax 12mm O-ringed end plug 98892-01 replaces the worn OE end plugs and restores critical circuit pressures. Drop-in Zip Valve™ installs quickly and easily.

SYMPTOMS
- Various concerns depending on location of leaking end plug
- Low CPC Pressure
- Low cooler flow
CAUSE
Worn, eroded end plugs allow loss of critical hydraulic pressure.
CORRECTION
Sonnax drop-in O-ringed end plug restores correct circuit pressures. The O-ring provides additional sealing to prevent hydraulic loss.
