Inlet/outlet size problem
Used this cooler as an addition to my F250 pickup transmission. The cooler installed fine, but my temps actually went up about 15 degrees during normal driving. After evaluating the problem I discovered that the cooler inlet and outlet are crimped smaller than 3/8. The actual size of the connectors is .280 inches internally, which causes the fluid to slow down and pump pressure to stall inside of the cooling circuit. I’ll be installing a factory cooler this week and this one will sit on a shelf.
