Do you offer installation guides for your products?
Most of our products that come with install instructions are going to be shift kits or certain performance parts that might require modifications prior to use. Our rebuild kits do not come with instructions how to rebuild a transmission. We do offer ATSG tech manuals and can help direct you to other resources if you need help.
Are your parts OEM or aftermarket?
It depends on the part. We try to offer a variety of OE and quality aftermarket replacement parts for each component. However, as transmission age out of service finding a new OEM replacement part is not always possible and in some cases not always the best option. Some aftermarket parts correct issues inherent with the original equipment's engineering.
What warranties do you offer on your products?
New products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects. Please see our Warranty Page for more specific information.
How can I find a specific part on your website?
What should I do if a product is out-of-stock?
If the product you need is currently out-of-stock then please fill out the "Out of Stock Reminder" form that pops up on the listing page or click on the banner that will appear on the right side of the page. You will get a notification as soon as that part is back in stock.
Can I pre-order items that are not currently available?
Do you offer bulk purchase discounts?
Yes, we do. If you frequently rebuild transmissions, we can help you save with bulk purchase discounts. We provide bulk pricing online for many commonly purchased items such as frictions, gaskets, seals and steels. Additionally, if you are a commercial rebuider, we offer discounts on every order. What do I do if I can't find the part I need?
If you've tried searching the website, but still cannot find the transmission part you need then please contact us via email, chat or phone and we will do our best to assist you.
Are the images on your website accurate representations of the products?
Yes. We will only display pictures that are of the actual product and we do not use stock images.
Can I get technical specifications for a part?
You sure can. If you need more specs then are listed on the product detail page just let us know. We will do our best to get the information you need.
How do I choose the right rebuild kit for my transmission?

Do you offer high performance transmisson parts?
Most certainly! We offer a wide range of high performance transmission parts for most applications.
Do you provide installation or transmission rebuild services?
No we do not. We just sell the parts.
How often do you update your product catalog?
Our online product catalog is updated every week as we get the newest products in stock. Please contact us if you don't see what you're looking for and we will get it in for you.
What is a transmission steel, friction or clutch module?
A steel or friction module is a complete set of the friction or steel plates required in a full transmission rebuild. On most transmissions we sell the plates in various ways: Singles, by clutch pack or the complete kit of frictions (module).
What are the different types of clutch friction materials?
There is a growning number of materials coming onto the market to improve clutch performance based on certain applications. Below is a brief rundown to help determine what you mean. With links to the manufactures for more information.
- Tan/Yellow - these are usually considered OE replacement material.
- Green - upgraded high-energy style clutches. Suitable for all applications
- Red - performance street/strip use
- Blue - intended for serious race applications only
