Vehicles equipped with Aisin AW 55-50SN and 55-51SN transmissions often exhibit several common concerns related to wear in the lockup relay valve bore. Oscillation of the lockup relay valve and stroking of the lockup control relay valve in its sleeve results in wear, which creates a loss of hydraulic control of the lockup circuit. Various TCC apply/release related concerns develop in these cases. Sonnax oversized lockup relay valve kit 59947-77K allows the bore to be refurbished, restoring normal TCC operation.
