Vehicles equipped with Aisin Seiki AS68RC transmissions utilize a dual-functioning K3/B2 valve to control the application of the K3 clutch and the B2 brake. The inner most bore has shown to be prone to wear which can lead to 2-3 flares, delayed Reverse and pressure switch codes. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized K3/B2 valve kit 99740-09K restores proper K3 clutch and B2 brake control.

SYMPTOMS

CAUSE
Wear in the bore of the K3/B2 valve can cause low pressure in the K3 and the B2 circuit resulting in 2-3 flare shifts, delayed Reverse and pressure switch codes.
CORRECTION
Recondition the worn bore and install Sonnax oversized K3/B2 valve kit.
