When shift codes and shift complaints such as harsh shifts are found in Toyota/Lexus A750, A760, A960 and AB60 series units, the accumulator control valve is frequently the culprit. Worn components in the accumulator control valve train allow cross-leaks between hydraulic circuits and pressure losses to the sump. Installing Sonnax oversized accumulator control valve kit 147741-24K will eliminate cross-leaks and uncontrolled pressure loss.

CAUSE
Wear at the valve spools, sleeve bore and valve body allow critical control pressures to cross-leak between valve body circuits or escape to the sump. Accumulator control pressure may be high or low depending on wear location.
CORRECTION
