This is our most popular Master Rebuild Kit that covers the A500 transmission between 1988 and 1992 and contains all the components that are most commonly replaced in the rebuild. All the parts in GTP's A500 Master Kits are of the highest quality and made in the United States. We sell this kit everyday to rebuild shops everywhere because of the number of quality parts you receive for the price.
The rear band often times is not replaced in the unit, so not included in this kit. Please let us know if you have any questions!
GTP's A500 Master Rebuild Kit Contains
- Overhaul Kit that has all the seals, gaskets, o-rings and small miscellaneous components that you'll need on your rebuild. Choose between a cork/rubber oil pan gasket or upgraded to a Farpak fiber style pan gasket.
- Complete Clutch Friction Module manufactured in the USA
- Full new steel plate module
- Front/Intermediate Band - 1.375'' Wide Style (Make sure your transmission has this style band, and not the 1.6'' Wide)
- Pump Bushing
- Extension Housing Bushing
- 3-Bolt Felt Style Oil Filter

All orders received by 3:00 PM Eastern Time (Monday-Friday) ship that day via UPS or the USPS. Most of our listings offer FREE Standard Shipping using either UPS-Ground, USPS-Priority or USPS First-Class delivery depending on the weight of the order and your location. The majority of orders arrive to our customers in 2 to 4 days! If your order takes longer than 4 business days to arrive, let us know and we will check into it. Issues can occasionally happen during the shipping process, all in all our main goal is to make sure you get your parts as fast as possible.
We do offer affordable UPS Next-Day shipping solutions to all our customers in the United States. Just contact us with your address and the item you're looking to purchase (or already purchased), and we will get back to you with a price for expedited shipping. Saturday is offered in limited metropolitan areas, and there is usually a $12.50 extra Saturday delivery fee (in addition to the NDA cost) charged by UPS for the service.
