A unique valve in Chrysler 948TE, Honda/Acura, 9-speed and ZF9HP48 transmissions is the shift valve system pressure valve (SV-SP), which is designed to help control main line pressure by feeding pressure to the inboard side of the main pressure regulator valve. Wear at this SV-SP valve can prevent proper line regulation, which results in incorrect line pressure control, poor shift quality and burnt clutches.
