Even a little wiggle has a significant effect on solenoid pressure to the controlling clutch regulator valves. Worn dampeners must be corrected to provide a smooth solenoid signal to the clutch regulator it serves. The smoother the solenoid signal, the more consistent and cleaner the shifts will be. Our oversize pulse dampeners (accumulators) are for use in General Motors 6T30, 6T40, 6T45, 6T50 GEN2 and GEN3 (2012-on) valve bodies.
