In Ford 6R60, 6R75, 6R80 transmissions, movement between the center support and case lugs causes fretting wear on the face of the center support, resulting in endplay exceeding specification. Machining the center support contact face and installing Sonnax center support snap ring 95630-01 between the case lugs and center support restores endplay to proper levels, allowing the support to be reused.
