The ZF5HP19 lubrication valve limits cooler pressure. Depending on the extent and location of bore and valve wear, cooler flow and pressure may be reduced or elevated. Uncontrolled pressures can lead to rupture of the cooler line or of the cooler. Reduced or lost lubrication flow and pressure can lead to planetary and/or bushing failure. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized lubrication valve kit 85755-07K will restore correct lubrication flow and pressure.
