I could not edit my previous review. I meant to say "I guess they figured you DO NOT need the screen in the snout of the solenoid."

Be aware that this solenoid does not come with the notches in the snout to be able to install a screen. I guess they figure you need it. The solenoid I replaced you could not blow thru it. The new one I could blow thru it. Applied 12Vdc and the solenoid closed with no air flow leakage. I did not care for the electrical connectors so I used un-insulated inline splices crimped and solder and heat shrink the connections. This made for a cleaner install and a superior electrical connection. Have now driven the truck with a 4L60E transmission 40 miles and everything works as it should. I would have given 5 stars if they would have provided "Solder Shrink" inline splices instead of the hokey supplied connectors.
