Wear of the pump slide pivot pin due to the continuous oscillation of the pump slide allows cross leaks between the pressure and exhaust sides. As the OE pin wears, it can contribute to erratic pump slide movement, which in turn causes erratic pressures and poor line rise control.
Sonnax replacement pin 96200-02 is a direct replacement for a worn factory part, and restores the integrity of the pump.
