Clutch drum surface should be prepared with 600 grit Wet/Dry paper. Seal should be well lubricated prior to installation.
Delayed or no forward engagement cold is often caused by a shrunken or deteriorated inner lip seal in the rear (forward) clutch piston. Improved seal material and design provides better sealing and enhanced seal life.
