Many OE supports in Chrysler 46RH/RE, 47RH/RE and 48RE units do not seal well against the case, leading to reduced lube flow to the gear train and consumption of pump volume. Sonnax piston retainer kit 22754N-01K maximizes gear train durability by preventing the loss of lube oil between support and case.

SYMPTOMS

CAUSE
Excessive clearance between the overdrive piston retainer and intermediate shaft reduces lube flow to the gear train.

Restore lube oil and prevent repeat failure by installing Sonnax piston retainer kit.
