The OE aluminum governor valves in listed Chrysler RWD units become worn because the soft-coat anodizing wears off. The valve is not being optimally supported in the bore because the OE valve land is narrow. Sonnax primary governor valve 12802-01 has been improved over the OE version in both material and configuration for greater durability and performance.
