Replacing the OE sleeve in listed units is recommended on all rebuilds due to the inherent movement of the OE sleeve when heated. Removing and replacing the OE sleeve with Sonnax K2 clutch seal ring sleeve kit 15759-01K re-establishes sufficient oil flow to the K2 clutch. For improved retention, the Sonnax sleeve features an increased press fit and an included anti-rotational pin to ensure against repeat failure.

CAUSE
The OE sleeve rotates on the case due to insufficient press fit. This restricts oil flow to the K2 clutch, which is applied in 4th, 5th & 6th Gear.
CORRECTION
The Sonnax sleeve was designed for use with an anti-rotation pin and has an increased press fit, which results in greater retention.
