It is is not intended to be used as a complete rebuild kit! Only those who maybe caught the problem in time and want to try to get their car or truck back on the road as cheap as possible.

If it included the transfer case seal that goes bad. This kit would be the 700 do all kit... The xfer case input shaft seal gets hard and cracks letting the trans fluid fill the xfer case up while depleting the level in the trans pan. This anomaly usually leads to the eventual 3-4 burn up.
99 GMC Jimmy No reverse and no second gear New sunshell fixed our no reverse problem we also got our second gear back after the rebuild. Didn't notice that the valve body needed new gasket and check balls which were included with the kit. But it's a good thing that they were included because the ones in the transmission were baked on and some of the check balls were in the wrong spot. Opted for the upgraded gears and gaskets for only a few dollars extra was definitely worth the money. I will be buying this kit again if I ever need to rebuild a 4L60 e transmission. I would definitely suggest using assembly Grease when putting Parts Back Together made things a hundred times easier!
